We are busy bees in 3 Pine! Here is our latest timetable to see what we do every day!
On Monday we had our school trip to Murton Park! We spent the WHOLE day living as Stone Age men and women. We were able to experience hunting and gathering animals for food, making our own flour, farming, clay pot making and drawing on our cave walls!
We had the most wonderful day and will never forget 'Wolf'- our camp leader. Please look on our Twitter page for photos from the day!
Last week and this week we worked with Kirklees Council learning how to stay safe as a pedestrian on the roads. Ask your child about the Green Cross Code!
Happy Royal Wedding!!! We have been feeling all romantic this morning in 3 Pine, to celebrate the Royal Wedding we have been looking at love stories- we even had a go at writing a heartfelt letter!
In the afternoon we wrote congratulations cards to Harry and Meghan and posted them off- the happy couple will have lots of fun reading them all this weekend!
Today is World Book Day at Orchard! We started our day reading our favourite story and writing a book review about it. I was so impressed that 3 Pine came dressed as their favourite characters- you all looked amazing!
Next we visited the children in Early Years and 'Shared a Story'. The children in 3 Pine brought a book along and read to the children who listened fantastically!
Please remember to share a story on Twitter and to continue to read every night at home to be in with a chance of winning a fantastic set of books!
Thursday at Orchard was Resilience Day! The children in 3 Pine learnt what makes a resilient learner, how to solve Sudoku problems in Maths and worked in teams to build the tallest balloon tower in the afternoon! Ask your child what it takes to be resilient!
Enjoying funbounce yesterday morning! Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
This afternoon we have been writing about what the greatest gift of Christmas is after watching a very famous advert from last year! We decided as a class that spending time with our families is the most important thing about Christmas.
Next term is going to be a busy one! You can find our medium term plan here.
