How can we help?
Meet the team
Our attendance team are here to provide children and their families with the support and guidance needed to remove barriers to consistently good education. From face-to-face conversations, phone calls and text messages, the team have made it their mission to empower children and parents to value the importance of good attendance and to build consistent habits around coming to school.
Our motto is:
'To ensure children are in school every day that they are well enough to be'.
Our team is headed-up by Principal Mr Carbutt who ensures that our attendance strategy is successfully applied and accessible to all children and parents. However, the strategy is brought to life by the team below.

Home Visits
If your child is absent from school, we may complete a home visit. These home visits will be conducted by members of the attendance team and/or senior leadership team. Our home visits are a supportive tool to offer help and advice to parents/carers and to let children know we are missing them and look forward to their return. Sometimes we may complete home visits if we do not receive any information as to why your child is absent from school. We have a legal responsibility to make sure you and your child are safe so please support us by keeping in regular contact.
