Personal, Social and Emotional Development

We have a weekly Jigsaw lesson to help us talk about our emotions and to learn mindfulness.

This half term our topic is Changing Me.

We will begin by looking at our bodies and how it changes over time.  We will look at healthy life choices that will support growth.  We will then begin to look at other changes that happen, linking with the future transition to Year 1.  We will explore any worries and fear for the future and who they can go to for support and reassurance.

Religious Education

This is Bertie, our wise owl.

In RE we will be exploring 'What makes a special place?'  We will begin by looking at homes that we know and other homes around the world, to see what is the same and what is different.  Then we will look at special places within our homes and why they are special.  This will lead us onto Houses of Worship and the special places within them.  The religions we will be focussing on this half term will be Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
