Our Support for Parents
Supporting the whole family is a huge focus at Orchard Academy. We offer an open door policy which ensures that all parents, carers and family members feel empowered to come and speak to any of our staff at anytime with the confidence that they will feel supported.
Key Adults in School
We run an open door policy where any type of issue can be discussed and supported promptly and effectively.

Miss. Fisher is our Adult Mental Health First Aider and Safeguarding Lead.
Miss Fisher can provide support for any of your concern regarding school attendance, EBSA and any parent need such as housing, referrals, mental health and substance use.

Miss Barker Milner is our SENDCo (Special educational needs and disability co-ordinator). Miss Barker-Milner can support you with any concerns you have regarding your child's communication, social, emotional, academic and physical needs and support with next steps. Miss Barker-Milner runs half-termly parent/carer SENDco drop ins for anyone who has concerns about their child's needs to attend.

Mrs Elliott is our Pastoral Manager and Child Mental Health First Aider
She can provide support regarding any concerns you have about your child's mental health or behaviour and will refer to external agencies if required.
